The Warning

Everything was in silence when, all of a sudden, dogs started to bark desperately, frightening all the community of that little tribal village. Everyone was whispering in the streets because they felt that something really chilling was about to happen and they were not wrong.
Among all the people, a woman screams and the silence falls. People look to each other with a question in their horrifying eyes. The fear invades young and old and the will to help that scared voice starts to grow in the community.
“My child!!! My sweet boy! I can’t find him. Please, help me!”
The silence was immediately replaced by worried voices, and histerical shrieks.
“ I want a moment to think. Please, be quit...”
The old man wasn’t shouting to the people but they all seemed to hear him. He was standing on a rock with his back straight and a tribal staff in a wood in his wrinkled hands.
“ We must think. We must get a plan. First of all, I need to ask you something, Akawara. Did you noticed anything weird today?”
Akawara said that besides the mysterious disappearance of her son, nothing unusual took place in the village. Everybody started to search for the kid but they didn’t find any clue about the place where he could be.
As no one could find him, someone came with a theory that made the legs tremble.
The ancestors of that community believed that Thor, one of their gods, demanded the sacrifice of children, otherwise the annual harvest would be ruined.
Since the beginning of the investigation, eleven more children had disappeared and White Eagle, the old man that leads the tribe, decided that someone should look for spiritual answers.
To do so, he went to the cave where statues of gods were. Thor was also there... White Eagle was praying when, suddenly, someone interrupted his line of thoughts.
Akawara was breathless, running towards his leader.
“White Eagle, I found them! They’re in a clearing in the woods near the mystical waterfall.”
A bright smile appeared in the leader’s face as if nothing was better than the news he had just received.
“Thanks’ to Ashalmin, god of life! Let´s reunite all the members of this village and then you can show us the way.”
And so it was... a short time later, they were in the clearing in the woods where they found all the missing children. They were on the floor, forming a circle and looking at something that the rest of the inhabitants couldn´t see.
Akawara finally saw her son and she ran towards him like all the other mothers.
“ Iakary, why did you all come here alone? Why? We were so worried!”
Iakary looked at his mother with a look of incomprehension on his childish face...
“We didn´t come here alone... Can’t you see all these people here with us?”
White Eagle was listening to the conversation and, suddenly, all of the mysteries started to make some sense to him. He had always listened to some stories about the spirits of the forest that only child could see and animal could feel. So, he was able to solve all the dark problems that had fallen over his people and he discovered why dogs barked everytime a child disappeared. They knew what was about to happen. They felt the presence of the other world and they tried to warn them...

Somos tão talentosos que até irrita :b

Provavelmente, a história tem um final sangrento, visto os membros do grupo serem um pouco, vá, macabros. Mas nada de especial.
